By killer I mean a couple bucks but hey maybe this review will help someone else feel less stupid because of my mistake. Excellent little adapter with a very solid feel to the connection point between it and your headphones. I didn't notice any reduction in sound quality because of the adapter either.Do note though that shipping is a killer when you don't read the bit at the top that says "not eligible for Amazon Prime" and think it's coming to you at cost.
Very simple product and it works like a charm.definitely better to use your own headphones instead of the ones the airlines provide.

Airline headphones are always cheap crap and hurt your ears more then they help, so I always carry my own noise isolating headphones with me. If you are ever on one of the older airplanes with this kind of plug and have your own headphones this will come in very handy.
